Question

My husband passed away last month and I need to figure out mortgage payment with single income now. Is there any help out there from banks or state in my case. Thanks for your help in advance.

Answer

First, please accept my condolences on the passing of your spouse. I know how hard it hit my mother when my dad passed away.

Before anything you should examine your mortgage. It is increasingly become mainstream that mortgages having passed through MERS (the Mortgage Electronics Registration System) involve fraud and most probably the homeowner can "get out of paying their mortgage" without the fear of foreclosure. Even if your mortgage does not say MERS if it has been sold or transferred there is still a very strong possibility the mortgage is unenforceable due to improper transfer and endorsement.

Search the inbternet regarding "MERS Court Ruling". Most attorneys are even unaware of what is happening with respect to this in America.

Should you determine your mortgage is "solid" please ask us again for more information.
