Question

My 22 yr old son was recently involved in an accident where he was driving a friends car. He lost control of the vehicle in a curve and hit a tree. There were 4 passengers in the vehicle besides my son. He and two others lost their life in the accident. His friend survived (front seat passenger), and the passenger seated behind his friend survived. I do not claim my son as a dependent, he was employed but lives in my home. I do not carry him on my insurance. He drove a truck his father owned and carried liability insurance on only, as it was paid for, but did not name our son on his insurance policy, because he didn't live with him. I feel bad for all the family's involved but I suffered a great loss as well, & did not have control over any of the circumstances. What, if any, repercussions could I suffer?
