My Husband did not pay the amount due on the Universal Life policy last year. He has had this policy for about 40 years. He passed away this year. They say there is no policy coverage being he missed the payment so there is nothing to pay out. Is this correct? The bill has a Base Specified Amount of $87,805.00. Did I loose the benefit?
