Question

for about the last five I have done lawn mowing and snow blowing for a total at 300.00 a year. now I lost the account.was paying 55.00 a month on MEPD I make 1820.00 monthly, what should I expect will happen on my account.how do I keep my Medicaid?

Answer

Medicaid for Employed People with Disabilities (MEPD) program allows individuals with disabilities to continue receiving Medicaid while they go back to work. Enrollees who take advantage of MEPD are allowed to make up to 250% of the federal poverty level.  Not sure how big your family is but for a family of 1, the allowable earnings would be $29,425 ($11,770 X 2.5).  If I understand your question correctly, your current monthly earnings are $1820, which would still qualify you for medical assistance via MEPD benefits.
