QuestionI''m 46 and opened an IRA two years ago and have left the funds in the Fidelity MM gaining no interest to speak of due to fearing how to aloocte the investment. Please tell me what simple resources I can utilize to allocate the funds--about $8k due to tax restricting me on how much I can invest due to my income--about $115 annually.
Congratulations on taking the first step, which is saving for retirement. You might also consider other retirement plan options offerred by your employer or available to self employed individuals. Talk to you CPA or tax advisor to make certain that you understnad your options for contributing to tax qualified retirement plans.
