Question

Can I change the insured (me) on my life policy to my wife?

Answer

Thank you for your question. If I understand you correctly, you are currently the insured; which means the policy is on your life and you were underwritten for it. If that is the case, then typically the answer is no, you cannot make your wife the insured. She would have to apply for coverage and be underwritten. You can change the owner of the policy and the beneficiary, but not the insured.
