My wife and I are public school employees. If we get foreclosed on or if we go bankrupt. Can creditors come after our 403B if there is judgement against us?

What is the limit on the amount of student loan debt a graduate should carry? I''ve heard that the amount you carry in student loans should not exceed the yearly salary you expect to be making after graduation. Is that generally right?

I have 2 acct. with a DFA financial planner/advisor(IRA and Indiv.accts.) that are doing well now, good gains. I pay him .80% quarterly to manage them but all the funds he has me in I also pay an expense ratio from .30% up to .96%. This I do not like but there''s no way around it unless I change fin. planners/advisors. I realize that these "gains" (around $100,000)...

My husband and I are approximately $40,000 in debt. My husband and I both have good paying jobs, we have more month than money. I estimate that my husband has $500,000 saved towards retirement through his company through their stock program. Should we stop paying towards retirement to pay off the credit card debt?

I am a 63 year old female. I am still working. I need money for necessary repairs on my home. Now that the interest rates are low should I refinance or take money out of my retirement savings plan? I often get information about reverse mortages, but I don''t think I want to go that route

what is the best way to to begin to start paying down credit card debt in the amount of $13,500.00? is there a right and wrong way to do this, I want this debt gone!
