I am a CPA in industry (previously audit), and have managed my investments for over 20 years. Although I''m fine with my results so far, I believe I could use a sanity check. I'm thinking this would take the form of a fee-only financial review/plan, without putting my assets under management. Do you have any advice for people in my situation? Thank you.

I have an A&B Trust. My husband passed away in 2005 and I did not have the trust divided because I did not have enough money. We had the trust made up because of a disabled son. The lawyer did an A&B trust that we did not understand. When I pass away how does this affect my children?

If my kids have bank accounts with debit cards, what is the best way for me to teach them how to balance their checking accounts? They don''t want to stop every time they pay with their debit card and write it down in a check register.

I had a huge gambling issue this year. I won $335,000 and lost approximately $65,000. Are the win/loss statements admissable? Can you deduct cash advance fees? I know I have to itemize. Can I claim mileage?

I need to know if I can claim my 23 year old son as a dependent on my taxes. I will be filing either as Head of Household or Married Filing Separately. My son was in college the fall semester of 2013 and has been living at home. I provide his shelter, utilities, food, etc. while he is trying to get his feet on the ground. Thank you.

I got an Indexed Universal Life policy through Nationwide. Death benefit of 250k which increases as the cash value increases. The interest paid mirrors the performance of the S&P 500 with a cap of 12% and a floor of 0%. Looking back at the performance of the index over the last 50 years it has averaged about 10%. I know there are no guarantees of future performance...
