Hi there I live in sydney and been here for last three and half years. I did not know I had to file taxes in US even though I live and work here and pay taxes in Australia. If I file this year what forms do I have to do? Both fed and state? I am confused so any help would be appreciated. Thanks Sim

I have a IRA brokerage account. I will have to start taking RMDs soon. I currently live on the dividends in my IRA. If I sell some of the stock for RMD I lose that income. Would it be advantageous to take RMD in kind value of the stock and put that into my regular brokerage account and continue to collect the dividends??

I am looking at refinancing my mortgage. I also wanted to pull my homeowners insurance out of escrow and pay it myself, but leave the property taxes in escrow. Am I required to pay an escrow waiver fee in that situation, since I still will have an escrow for the taxes. Thank you.
