I have a client that formed his C corporation in September 13 2011 and he would like to have us switch it into an "S" corporation. We understand you have a limitation of time of 2 years from the date it was originally formed. could you please send me the document that stipulates this, so we can show the client his time has expired. My wife past away 5/3/2015 I am the sole beneficary on both her policies I was told today that a third party has requested a retriction on the policies and that they have thirty days to get a judge to block payout if not then they will send me the funds don't understand what there or myself are my legal rights.

My son is 17 and will be going to college in about a year. I have 6k in tax return money that I want to use for college. Should I put that into his 529 account or is it safer to just keep it in savings? I'm feeling it is crunch time for saving but I am nervous about losing anything.
