My wife,my daughter and I have been living with my mother for a few years now. We did not exactly budget very well. Generally made a huge mess of our finances. Is there any way to get help working on our finances, or to help getting a plan figured out to fix this? Thanks.

Hi, my husband passed away in May. We have 3 kids together. And he has 2 kids from a previous marriage and they are 16 and 17 years old. Plus they both live with me! Not there mom! Anyhow when the kids were put on this survivors check one of my step kids did live with there mom, which made her the rep payee, well not that she is living here with me ( her step mom)....

I am planning on moving to Ireland in May 2013 and finding a job there, what do I need to know about taxes and tax credits? How much will I have to pay? And when I get married, does my husband have to pay as well, even though he is not a US citizen?

I have 4 children 2 that recieve survur benefits and i have a hearing coming up for disability and ssi for myself.I wanted to know will my disability benefits or ssi be affected because 2 of my children gets survur benefits?

I am between 4 and 5,000.00 in debt, I pay out about 600 a month. Would I be better to get a loan and pay these off and have just one payment?

I am 60 years old and want to retire in 2 1/2 years.At that time I will receive $316,000.00 lump sum pension.My house will also be paid off ($11,000.00 left on mortg.)I am single and no children with $200,000.00 in 401K.Should I take $100,000.00 out of 401K and place in a variable annuity with MetLife,5% return and not use for 10 years.

My husband and I put ourselves thru college after having children and then paid for their education as well. The only way to get an education was through taking out student loans. Time and money spent on education was definitely worth it but it feels like we will never get the student loans paid off. My 49 yr. old husband was recently diagnosed with stage 4 prostate...

My wife and I are currently going through a Short sale on our house. Our Credit Score took a huge hit with the short sale. How long will it take for our Credit score to get back to the 790 it is currently 625. The only debt that we have is credit card debt, which we pay off every month.

I am a retired widow. I sold my previous home and purchased a home nearer my son. I am now in a situation where I am retired, almost 65 years old (in Dec.), and am in need of the equity of my home (it is paid for) to pay my bills. I receive $1700/month in SS and a $350 pension. HELP! Options?
