I am a Taiwanese. Recently I got hired by an american university operating in China. I have a U.S. bank account in California. If I apply for direct deposit of my salaries to my American bank account, do I have to pay income taxes? Thank you.

A colleague of mine is a property manager at an apartment building. In exchange for her work, she receives a small monthly stipend and an apartment in the building. Does she need to report the market value of the apartment to the IRS as income? She is considered a part-time employee. What reporting requirements does her employer have? Thanks!

My question is related to SS benefits at retirement and self employed income. I am not taking any paycheck from my business. I am set up as an LLC. How does this count towards earning credits for SS at retirement? I checked ssa.gov and it shows I had no income for last year so I did not earn any credits. I do work p/t for another company and I earn less than $10000...
