I am a self-employed harpist. I need long term disability insurance, especially for my hands, arms, and legs in case of a long term disability. I can find short term policies, but I cannot find long term policies. How do I find them?

My mother is on Medicaid and is currently has an interest only mortgage. The terms of this loan is that it is interest only for 10 years and then amortized for the remaining 20 yrs. The ten year period is up this May which will increase her payment by $300 per month. The bank said she wouldn't qualify for a refinance to a lower interest rate as she has no income...

If a person is on social security disability but now works 2 days a week (estimated mthly income $800) and will receive a pension from an original job ($760.00 monthly), is that permissible being on social security disability? The income would be: 2 days of work $800/mthly pension $760/mthly ss disability $1,596.00 mthly Thank you.

can I go to small claims court to sue for the deductible I have to pay my insurance co. The other party was charged with the accident but have no insurance. I have uninsured motorist but have to pay a deductible.

I have found in an IRS publication that says premiums for State Tax Exempt Bonds must be amortized...how does this help or hinder the capital gain / loss status upon sale, and how many years to be amortized and to be entered on what IRS form /schedule ? AnthonyPulgrano
