I am selling my house and moving out on 7/20/16. For 30 days, my personal property will be in storage and I will be living with friends. On 8/23/16, I will close on my new house and begin moving my possessions from storage into my new address. How will I insure my personal property, roughly $100,000 for the 30 days when I am staying with friends?

my wife and i owned a term life insurance policy which was paid up. However, we could not continue paying or renew the policy. The policy was cancelled. Can we claim to get some money back from the insurance company, after paying into this policy for more than twenty (20) years?

My brother died of AIDS in 1993 or 94 in Dallas Texas, he was employed at Union Jacks in Dallas. He went on disability some months prior to his death but I believe before that the company's health and life insurance canceled all of the AIDS patients that worked there. Was this legal? When receiving SS retirement benefits before your Full Retirement Age, benefits are reduced by earnings over a certain amount. If federal income taxes are filed jointly with a younger spouse who has not yet claimed retirement benefits, will the joint earnings or only those of the retired person be used to determine the reduction in benefits?

Our son wants to buy our overhead door business and then immediately sell it to a group of investors. My questions are do we have to get a business valuation before selling to our son and can we sell it to him at a lower value? Or should we just sell our business directly to the group of investors?
