Meet the Money Doctors

We've assembled a volunteer panel of qualified CPAs that have attained the Personal Financial Specialists (PFS) credential for comprehensive financial planning to act as Money Doctors and answer questions from consumers regarding their financial planning issues. The program is offered as a public service and is designed to help and protect consumers by providing guidance on basic financial planning issues.

Joseph Krupka

Joseph Krupka, CPA/PFS

Dr. Krupka’s professional career includes maintaining a successful CPA and financial services practice and actively counsels clients in the areas of retirement, education and tax planning always with tax efficiency at the forefront. Dr. Krupka has attained numerous professional designations including: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Personal Financial Specialist (PFS).

Registered with Cadaret, Grant & Co., Inc., a member of FINRA and SIPC. Cadaret, Grant is not affiliated with the AICPA and does not provide tax, accounting, or legal services.


Jason Loiselle, CPA/PFS

I have been advising clients as a CPA and PFS for 14 years.  Our firm specializes in fee only financial planning and wealth managements services with special attention to tax planning.   As a CPA, I do tax planning and business accounting for individuals and closely held businesses. I work with a variety of industries but specialize in issues concerning Veterinarians. 


Jeremiah F. McCarthy, CPA/PFS

Jerry McCarthy is president and founder of McCarthy Wealth and Tax Advisors, a seven year old wealth management firm offering both tax and investment management services. Jerry and his firm specialize in personal financial planning, wealth management (asset allocation and portfolio management, retirement and estate Planning; and Tax Preparation & Planning.) McCarthy Wealth and Tax Advisors is a fee-only, registered investment advisory (RIA) firm.

Sue Mehan2013

Sue T. Meehan, CPA/PFS

Sue is a trusted financial advisor and client advocate at Meehan & Associates, where client needs are met through an integrated, practical, holistic approach. With over 25 years of tax planning experience, including serving on National and local tax planning teams as a Senior Tax Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co., Sue has a successful track record of identifying creative solutions and value-added opportunities for the most tax effective accumulation of family wealth.


Jim Minor, CPA/PFS

Eleven years experience as a CPA helping our clients see the financial picture from cash flow, budgeting and debt reduction to retirement and estate planning.


Lawrence Pon, CPA/PFS

I enjoy helping clients reach their financial goals through comprehensive tax and financial planning.   My main specialty is taxes and I help clients with their tax planning to make sure they are paying the minimal amount of taxes.    I prefer to look at the big picture to see what makes sense for the client.   I’ve been giving tax and financial planning advice to clients for the past 25 years.   I speak to fellow tax professionals and financial advisors on a regular basis on various tax and financial planning topics.    

Michael Repak

Michael Repak, CPA/PFS

Michael Repak is an attorney and a CPA/PFS who provides financial and estate planning services. Prior to joining Janney, he managed a solo elder and estate law practice. He had 10 years of Big 8 experience. He received his JD from the University of Florida and his LLM from NYU.


David A. Scott, CPA/PFS

David Scott became a Certified Public Accountant in Tennessee in March of 1980 and holds the PFS (Personal Financial Specialist) designation. He received a Bachelors of Business Administration from Memphis State University, where he graduated Cum Laude.

Mr. Scott spent 17 years as the Managing Partner of Scott & Pohlman, P.C., the CPA firm that he founded in 1988. While working for over thirty years in public accounting, Mr. Scott helped clients in the areas of income tax planning, estate planning, retirement planning, business succession planning, and later investment and insurance planning. He began to focus more on working with high net worth individuals on comprehensive financial planning and wealth management.

Mr. Scott is registered with Duncan-Williams, Inc., a member of FINRA and SIPC.. Duncan-Williams, Inc. is not affiliated with AICPA and does not provide tax, accounting, or legal services.


Chad P. Tramp, CPA/PFS

Chad has over 20 years of experience serving individuals and closely held businesses in the tax, assurance, accounting, finance and investment areas. He leads the wealth management practice in McGladrey’s Des Moines, IA office.  Chad helps clients develop plans for cash flow, income tax, estate and gift, investment and retirement.


Eugene Welsh, CPA/PFS

Gene has over 25 years experience providing financial and tax advice to individuals and small businesses.  Gene is president of Professional Management, Inc. and specializes in physician and dentist wealth management.  Gene is a member of the AICPA, OSCPA, PFS, and presently sits on the PFS exam review task force.
